Anne Marie (Schwei) Fields - Benton, IL Anne Marie (Schwei) Fields, 38, of Benton, died at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, February 17, 2013 at her home. Ms. Fields was born on February 13, 1975 in Gary, IN the daughter of Thomas Edward Schwei and Edith (Harding) Schwei. Anne enjoyed bowling, gardening, and loved her pets. She was a wonderful mother, grandmother and friend. Surviving relatives include three children, Brittney Marie Mickey, Hammond, IN, Christian Fields, Lowell, IN, George Fields, Jr., Lowell, IN, three grandchildren, Maddox, Jaxon, and Jaylen, a brother, James Matthew Schwei, Las Vegas, NV, and other brothers and sisters, her mother, Edith (David) Flannigan, Thompsonville, her maternal grandmother, Minnie Hairston, Vicksburg, MS, her fiance, Anthony Chadd, Benton, and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ms. Fields was preceded in death by her father and one brother, Benard Patrick Schwei. Visitation will be from 9:00 a. m. to 11:00 a. m. Thursday, February 21, 2013 at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in Benton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Thursday at the funeral home with Rev. Kent Dunford officiating. Following the service her body will be cremated.
