Betty Martin HattenSebring, FL Betty Martin Hatten, 83, of Sebring, FL, died on Friday, January 25, 2013 at Good Shepherd Hospice in Sebring. Mrs. Hatten was born on March 18, 1929 in St. Louis, MO the daughter of William and Flossie Mae (Rice) Mundell. She married George T. Martin and he preceded her in death on January 30, 2013. Betty was a homemaker and loved spending time with her grandkids. She also liked to read and sew. She was a resident of Sebring since 1997 coming from Plant City, Florida. Surviving relatives include two sons, George David Martin, Sebring, FL, Charles G. (Lori) Martin, Kankakee, IL, a sister, Ione Beaty, Benton, IL, five grandchildren, and eight great-grandchildren. Mrs. Hatten was preceded in death by her parents and husband. A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a. m. Saturday, February 9, 2013 at Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in Benton, IL.
