Betty Lou JonesMichigan City, IN Betty Lou Jones, 82, of Michigan City, IN, a former Ewing and West Frankfort resident, died at 6:45 a. m. Wednesday, June 5, 2013 at The Arbors in Michigan City, IN. Mrs. Jones was born on December 31, 1930 in Benton, IL, the daughter of John Wesley Braden and Bessie (Aaron) Braden. She married Floyd Jones on December 18, 1954 and he preceded her in death on November 4, 2007. Betty was a housewife. Surviving relatives include a daughter, Kimberly Thompson and companion Doug Woolum, La Porte, IN, two sons, Kenneth (Laurie) Jones, Las Vegas, NV, Kerry (Doranne) Jones, Porter, IN, two grandsons, Jason (Linda) Powell, Sterling Heights, MI, Paul Jones, Porter, IN, four step-grandsons, Tony Carew, Las Vegas, NV, Josh, Chris, and Trevor Woolum, all of La Porte, IN, two great-grandchildren, Briana and Steven Powell, both of Sterling Heights, MI, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Jones was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and one brother, James Braden. Graveside services will be held at 10:00 a. m. Saturday, June 8, 2013 at Mt.
