Carl Edward "Woody" ReedWest City, IL Carl Edward "Woody" Reed, 82, of West City, IL died Friday, December 21, 2012 at Select Specialty Hospital, Evansville, IN. Mr. Reed was born on November 20, 1930 in Benton, IL the son of Burt Reed and Ada (Schnitzle) Reed. Woody was a retired construction laborer and a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War. Surviving relatives include his sister, Betty Thomas, West City, IL, nephews, Jack Thomas, Benton, Terry Thomas, Benton, David Trusty, Valleyview, KY, Jamie Auten, Benton, nieces, Marsha Trusty, Valleyview, KY, Sabrina Thomas, Benton, IL, and several other nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his parents, one sister and one brother. Woodys wishes were to be cremated. There will be no services.
