Claudene Kalaboke, 77, of Benton, passed away at 12:28 p.m., on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Stonebridge Nursing and Rehabilitation Center in Benton.

She was born on October 31, 1943, to Claude and Ida Mae (Smith) Boggs in Miami, AZ., one of four children.

Claudene was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed sewing and making clothing for her family and friends.

Claudene is survived by two sons, James Westray and John Silvan; two granddaughters, Jammy (Jaq) Larney and Lorey Westray; her sister, Ruth Holthaus and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Claude and Ida Mae Boggs, her son, David Silvan and her sister, Bette Gregory and brother, David Franks-Boggs.

Services have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Benton, IL.

Per Claudene's wishes, cremation will take place.
