Clifford KaemperJoliet, IL Clifford Kaemper, 93, of Joliet, died at 12:35 p.m. Tuesday, July 3, 2012 at his home. Mr. Kaemper was born on October 11, 1918 in Benton, IL the son of He married the former Rose Ginoli and she survives. Born and raised in Benton, IL Clifford moved to Joliet where he worked for Caterpillar, Inc. as a machinist for more than thirty years. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and loved traveling with his wife, Rose. Surviving relatives include one son, Michael "Bill" (Dorothy) Mason, Joliet, four grandchildren, Michael (Marci) Mason, Channahon, Lesli (John) Wegner, Batavia, Scott (Amy) Mason, Clinton, and Tracy LaLonde, Chicago, seven great-grandchildren, Alissa Mason, Jennifer, Anna, Nick, Lauren, and Lindsey Wegner, and Sierra Mason, and several nieces and nephews. Mr. Kaemper was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Rose (nee Ginoli) Kaemper (2006) and his brothers and sisters. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Monday, July 9, 2012 at the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton with military honors performed by the Benton American Legion Post 280, V.F.W.
