Cliffton "Clif" L. Warren, 79, of Benton, passed away at 2:17 p.m., on Saturday, November 30, 2024, at the VA Medical Center in St. Louis, MO.

He was born on July 27, 1945, to Joe and Edith (Beatty) Warren in Benton, IL.

Clif was a member of the Benton Elks Lodge #1234 and the Benton Eagles. He loved watching NASCAR and in his day, was a huge fan of Rusty Wallace. He also enjoyed watching NFL football games but his absolute favorite was watching the WWF. Another hobby Clif enjoyed was gardening, especially taking care of his tomatoes.

Cliffton is survived by his two daughters, Yvonne (Ken) Grisham and Carol Wiggins; his brother, Curt Warren; his grandchildren, Dylan Warren, Aaron Grisham, Grant Grisham, Brad Grisham, Marissa Furlow, Tabitha Sanders and Krystal Sander and  four great-grandchildren, Gatlin Warren, Hayden Grisham, Rebecca Grisham and Harper Grisham.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Joe and Edith Warren, his children, Cindy Leggans,  Amy  Spegeal and Ralph Spegeal and his brother, Ralph Warren.

Services have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 South Main Street, Benton, IL.

Per Clif's wishes, cremation will take place.  A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.

Memorials may be made to the Benton Elks Lodge #1234 and will be accepted at the funeral home.
