Cynthia Marie MixCarbondale, IL Cynthia Marie Mix, 52, of Carbondale, IL, died at 2:30 p. m. Wednesday, July 17, 2013 at Mt. Vernon Health Care Center. Ms. Mix was born on October 1, 1960 in Chicago, IL the daughter of George Robles and Brenda (Eckles) Heifner. Cynthia liked art, crafts, fishing, and helping others. She especially enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren. She was of the Baptist faith. Surviving relatives include four daughters, Leigh Ann (Matthew Blackburn, West Frankfort, Ashley (Rahsaan) Graham, Bellwood, IL, Ariel Mix, Carbondale, IL, Abreana Mix, Carbondale, IL, eight granddaughters, Kyleigh and Braylin Blackburn, Anaizya Mix, Tiaizya Robinson, Courtney Donaby, Monda Graham, JaKiarrah Mix, Layla Tillman, her father, John Heifner, Macedonia, IL, one brother, George (Kim) Robles, Thompsonville, IL, and two sisters, Terrie Nevarez-Allen, McLeansboro, IL, Tammy Heiman, Benton, IL, and seven nieces and nephews, Brandon, Austin, and Andrew Robles, Jesse Nevarez, Kiersten and Jace Heiman, Macy Fritcher . Ms. Mix was preceded in death by her mother, and a niece, Kelley (Robles) DeWitt. Cynthias wishes were to be cremated. A graveside memorial service will be held at 10:00 a. m.
