Daniela Maslovaric - Benton, IL Daniela Maslovaric, 86, of Benton, IL, died at 3:35 p.m. Saturday, October 1, 2011 at Memorial Hospital, Carbondale, IL. Mrs. Maslovaric was born on March 7, 1925 in Yugoslavia. She married Vukasin Maslovaric and he preceded her in death in November 1970. Daniela was a retired machine operator and enjoyed crocheting, working in her yard, and car rides. She also loved birds. She was of the Serbian Orthodox faith. Surviving relatives include her one daughter, Smilka Hargis, Buckner, IL, one son, Paul Maslovaric and wife Kathy, Sebring, FL, six grandchildren, John Hargis, Mulkeytown, IL, Victor Hargis, Kyle Hargis, and Felicia Hargis, all of Buckner, IL, Rachel Doumel, Brookfield, IL, Dawn Maslovaric, Plainfield, IL, one great-grandchild, Landon Doumel, Brookfield, IL. Mrs. Maslovaric was preceded in death by her parents, husband and a grandson, David Hargis. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. Friday, October 7, 2011 at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home, Benton, IL. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m. Friday at the funeral home with Father Joseph Trapp officiating. Burial will be in the Harrison Cemetery, Buckner, IL.
