David "Buzz" Chrostoski - Benton, IL David "Buzz" Chrostoski", 53, of Benton, died at 10:10 p. m. Tuesday, November 27, 2012 at Stonebridge Senior Living Center in Benton. Mr. Chrostoski was born on February 8, 1959 in Rock Island, IL the son of Leo Chrostoski and Norma (Crawford) Chrostoski. Buzz was a member of the West City Church of God and enjoyed watching basketball, football, and car racing. Surviving relatives include his wife, Georgia Chrostoski, Benton, four daughters, Chastity (Keith) Harnage, Fort Drum, NY, Amber (John) Jackson, Baytown, TX, Linda Van Hoorebeke, Benton, Nettie Poe, Benton, two grandchildren, Tallen and Alli Harnage, both of Fort Drum, NY, father, Leo Chrostoski, West Frankfort, five brothers, Charles William "Bill" Chrostoski, Glen Carbon, IL, Jamie Snyder, John (Nora) Snyder, Jimmie Beachel, all of Benton, Glen (Della) Beachel, Nevada, eight sisters, Janice Chrostoski, Kay Fox, Christine (Terry) Gower, all of West Frankfort, Rose Noakes, Carterville, Lora Beachel, Carterville, Carole Snyder and fiance John Wright, Benton, Ramona (Chris) Nilson, Idaho, Therese (Chad) Spence, Utah, three nephews, Ron Hudson, West Frankfort, Eric and Phillip Chrostoski, both of Glen Carbon, IL, three great-nieces, Shyanne and Casey Hudson, both of Arkansas, Sidney Hudson, Mt. Vernon, IL, a great-nephew, Rylan Davis, Arkansas, special aunt, Donna Crawford, Benton, and several aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews. Mr. Chrostoski was preceded in death by his mother, a brother, Tony Snyder and a nephew, Christopher Hudson. A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a. m. Monday, December 3, 2012 at the West City Church of God with Pastor Harol Whitlock officiating. Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in Benton provided service to the family. Graveside services will be held at 2:00 p. m. Friday, February 8, 2013 at Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery in Benton with Rev. Harol Whitlock officiating.
