Deanna J. McFarland - Benton, IL Deanna J. McFarland, of Benton, IL, died Thursday, April 19, 2012 at her home. Ms. McFarland was born the daughter of James Kenneth Swofford and Anna D. (Watt) Swofford. Deanna was a registered nurse and worked in several area doctor' offices and clinics in Southern Illinois. Surviving relatives include one son, Eric McFarland, Benton, IL, two grandchildren, Seth and Sherice, one brother, Jim Swofford, St. Louis, MO, one sister, Susanne (Roger) Loss, Herrin, IL, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ms. McFarland was preceded in death by her parents and one son, Patrick McFarland. Her body will be cremated and a memorial service will be held at a later date.
