Diann Elaine Brady, 64, of Benton, passed away at 3:30 p.m., on Wednesday,  September 25, 2024,  at Deaconess Gateway Hospital in Evansville, IN.

She was born on June 12, 1960, to Charles and Elizabeth (Funkhouser) Overbey in Joliet, IL. On October 15, 1994, she married George Brady, and he preceded her in death on Novermber 20, 2009.

She was a loving mother, grandmother, sister and friend. In her spare time, Diann enjoyed sewing, reading and crafting.

Diann is survived by her loving daughters, Katherine "Kate" Ahrens of Joliet, IL and Patricia "Patti" (Kevin) Strong of Joliet, IL; five grandchildren, Courtney, Charlie, Eric, Nikolai and Makayla; a great-grandchild, Lorenzo and three sisters, Paula Overbey, Joyce Overbey and Carol Overbey.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles C. and Elizabeth E. Overbey, her husband, George Brady and her sister, Linda Overbey.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 S. Main Street, Benton, IL.

Per Diann's wishes, cremation will take place.
