Dorothy Jean Joles-Martin, 83, of Sesser, passed away on July 5, 2015 at her residence. She was born on June 30, 1932 to Sam and Mayme Haley in Jefferson County, IL. She was a former President of the VFW Ladies Auxiliary in Centralia, IL and was very active with POW and MIA. She loved her family and enjoyed sitting on the porch watching her birds. Dorothy is survived by her daughter, Mary J. (Charlie) Threewitt; an adopted son, Mark (Sue) Parke; two grandsons, Jeremy (Adriane) Parke and Nathan Threewitt (Special Friend Stephanie Winter); two great-granddaughters, Marley Threewitt and Courtney Parke; a brother, Wayne (Tola) Haley; a sister, Mary (Jack) Runnels; and a sister-in-law, Vivian Haley. She was preceded in death by her parents; three brothers, Sam Haley, Lee Haley and Wilbur Haley; a Sister, Virginia Haley. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
