Dorothy Morgan's Obituary
She was born December 7, 1931, in Benton, IL, to Thomas and Minnie (Ahls) Adams. She was a homemaker and of the Protestant faith. Prior to becoming ill, she attended the North Benton Baptist Church. Formerly she was married to Roy Morgan and two sons were born to this union.
Dorothy is survived by a son, Dwight L. Morgan of Anna, IL; a brother, Albert Adams and his wife Mary Ellyn of Benton, IL; two nephews, Michael Adams of Benton, IL and James Michael Ahlfield of Sesser, IL; one niece, Pamela Kreher and her husband Patrick, of Beckemeyer, IL; one great-niece, Annie Kreher of St. Louis, MO; two step-nephews, David Hutson and Charles Hutson of Sesser, IL; and one step-niece, Jan Hartzel and husband Bruce of Bakersville, CA.
She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Dale Morgan; her parents, Thomas and Minnie Adams, one half-sister, Betty (Trapper) Hutson and one brother-in-law, Logan Hutson.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015, from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, December 17, 2015, at 12:30 pm at Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory in Benton, IL, with the Reverend Kurt Sanders officiating.
