Earl Vernon McCook, Jr., 70, of Belgrade, MT,  passed away at 3:40 p.m., on  Sunday, December 8, 2024, at the Gray Plaza Motel in West Frankfort, IL.

He was born on November 27, 1954, to Earl and Mable (Gibs) McCook in Tifton, GA. Earl worked as a homebuilder in the construction industry.

Earl is survived by his son, Dustin McCook and his sister, Shirley McCook-Hardin.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Earl Vernon and Mable McCook and his son, Robert Earl McCook.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 South Main Street in Benton, IL.

Per Earl's wishes, cremation will take place.
