Ella Jean Seymour, 77, of Benton, passed away at 7:23 a.m., on Tuesday, April 19, 2016, at Helia Healthcare of Benton.
She was born on January 2, 1939 to John and Ella (McGuire) Martin in Mt. Vernon, IL. Jean was a retired legal secretary.
Jean is survived by her son, Jeffrey Seymour of Benton, IL; a brother and sister, Larry Martin of Dallas, TX and Judith Cathcart of Royalton, IL.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Services will be privately held at Pate Funeral Home, 301 South Main Street, Benton, IL.
