Ellen IngramEwing, IL Ellen Marie Ingram age 93, of Ewing, Illinois passed away at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, December 22, 2010. She was born October 6, 1917 in Christopher, Illinois to Otto and Della (Rowland). Ellen Ingram taught school for over 25 years. She taught at Christopher, West Point, and Thompsonville. Ellen was a member of Liberty Baptist Church. Ellen was an avid reader and loved to work puzzles. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grand children. She married Carl Ingram on December 22, 1937. Ellen is survived by her five children, son, Gary Ingram of Scotland, Arkansas and his children Kenneth Ingram, Dwayne Ingram, Amanda Ingram, and BJ Ingram. His grandchildren are Kristina, Courtney, Joseph, and Chalon. Son, Steve Ingram of Scotland, Arkansas and his children Charles S. Ingram Jr. and wife Sarah, and Chad S. Ingram and wife JoHanna and children Carlie and Cloie Ingram. Son, James A. Ingram and wife Mae of Winston Salem, North Carolina. His children are Misty Oakley, Deanna Ingram, Patty Wall, Lisa Wall, Kay Hyatt, and Steve Wall. His grandchildren are Eligha Ingram, Hunter Oakley, Jason Gallimore, Jennifer Gallimore, Garth Hyatt, and Anne Wall. Son, Mark Ingram and Lisa Kearney of Ewing, Illinois. His children are Marty Ingram and Shannon Veach. His grandchildren are Brison and Brock Dorris. Daughter, Marian and Bill Nipper of Ewing. Their children are Karla Gunter, Jera Wynn, Gabe Nipper, and Eli Nipper. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p.m. Sunday, December 26, 2010 at Liberty Baptist Church in Ewing, Illinois with Pastor Gene Auxier officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 - 12:00 p.m. Sunday morning prior to the funeral services. Burial will be in Liberty-Ridlen Cemetery. In lieu of flowers the family has requested donations to the Ellen Ingram memorial fund at Liberty Baptist Church, 21447 Sheep Farm Road, Ewing Illinois, 62836.
