Frank M. Kulich - Benton, IL Frank M. Kulich, 86, of Benton, IL, died at 7:23 p.m. Sunday, January 19, 2014 at the Herrin Hospital, Herrin, IL. Mr. Kulich was born November 4, 1927 in Chicago, IL, the son of Frank and Barbara (Varva) Kulich. He married Dolores Mottle on July 13, 1968 and she preceded him in death. Frank served in the United States Army during WWII. He was a retired bricklayer out of Local Union 21, Chicago, IL, a member of the V.F.W., Benton, IL, a honorary member of the Elks, Benton, IL, and of the Lutheran faith. Frank is survived by his four sons, Wayne Kulich and wife Carolyn, Benton, IL, Frank Kulich, Port Charlotte, FL, Glenn Kulich and wife Eilleen, Las Vegas, NV, Daryl Kulich and wife Nicole, Kankakee, IL, two sisters, Ruth Mosley, Blue Island, IL, and Carol Turner and husband Chuck, Binghamton, NY, a brother, Carl Kulich, Colorado Springs, CO, a brother-in-law, Emil Sabotka, Nippersink,WI, a sister-in-law, Edna Kulich, Zwolle, LA, eight grandchildren, Wayne Kulich and wife Heidi, Ronald Kulich, Frank J. Kulich, Brian Kulich and wife Heather, Jennifer Kulich, Christina Miller and husband Thad, Crystle Kulich, and Chic Kulich, great-grandchildren, Justin Kulich, PFC Frank W. Kulich (USMC) and wife Vanessa, Jordan Kulich, Karlie Kulich, Kaiden Kulich, Oliver Kulich, Max Kulich and Dylan Kulich. Mr. Kulich was preceded in death by his wife, parents, a brother, Jim Kulich, three sisters, Betty Sabotka, Alice Kerhart, and Dorothy Borkus, a daughter-in-law, Doris Kulich. Visitation will be from 4:00 to 8:00 p.m. Wednesday, January 22, 2014 at the Hobbs Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory, Benton, IL. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, January 23, 2014 at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory. Burial will follow services in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery.
