Gary Lee Weber, 66, of Benton, passed away at 7:09 a.m., on Sunday, July 2, 2017, at Barnes-Jewish Hospital, St. Louis, MO.
He was born on June 15, 1951, to Edward and Shirley (Alberts) Weber in Peoria, IL. Gary was the former owner of Main Street Antiques in Benton.
Mr. Weber was a member of the Sons and Grandsons of the American Legion Post 280 in Benton. Gary was a loving father and grandfather. He had a passion for hunting and fishing.
Gary is survived by his father, Edward Weber of Peoria, IL; a son, Tim (Ashley) Weber of Johnston City, IL; two grandchilden, Madison Weber and Bailey Weber both of Johnston City, IL; and a brother, David Weber of East Peoria, IL.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Shirley Weber.
Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Benton, IL.
A memorial gathering will be held from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m., Saturday, July 8, 2017, at Pate Funeral Home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Pate Funeral Home to assist with the funeral expenses, and will be accepted at the funeral home.
