Helen A. Forsythe, 81, of Ewing, passed away at 7:32 p.m., on Wednesday, March 30, 2022, at Helia Healthcare of Benton, surrounded by her family.

She was born on January 23, 1941, to Joseph and Henrietta (Vonhautton) Rockich in Chicago, IL. On July 4, 1957, she married Terry Forsythe and he survives.

Helen was a member of the First Baptist Church in Ewing.

She was a loving wife and mother. She enjoyed cooking, crocheting, quilting and all crafts in general.

Helen is survived by her loving spouse of 64 years,Terry Forsythe and her daughter, Christine Vondras.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Joseph and Henrietta Rockich and her son, Terry Ray Forsythe, Jr.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Benton, IL.

Per Helen's wishes, cremation will take place.
