Helen Martha Kinkopf - Benton, IL Helen Martha Kinkopf, passed away on Thursday, June 27, 2013. She lived a "good life" of 87 years. She resided with her husband Charles and her daughter Claudia and son-in-law, Joe in Benton, Illinois. Previously, she was a long time resident of Claysville, Pennsylvania. Helen was born to Paul and Clara (Dzamba) Wanczak on October 15, 1925 in East Pittsburgh, PA. Helen was preceded in death by three brothers Alex, Andrew and Mike Wanczak and her sister, Mildred Graham. She was a retired nurse. Helen enjoyed helping others and was involved with many charitable organizations. She spent much of her time with family and friends. She documented all family events through meticulous picture taking. She adoredgardening, painting and playing scrabble masterfully. Helenmarried Charles Kinkopf on June 26, 1948. She enjoyed 65 years of marriage to him, which was celebrated on June 26, 2013. Helen was a loving and devoted mother. She is survived by husband Charles, three children:Susan (Kinkopf) Smith (David Smith), Claudia (Kinkopf) Rizor (Joseph Rizor) and Charles "Timothy" Kinkopf. Helen is preceded in death by her youngest daughter, Martha (Kinkopf) Blair. She is also survived by nine grandchildren: Scott Rizor (Susan), Joshua Bird (Jennifer), David Smith, Jr., Michele Pinto, Robb Rizor, James Smith (Tammy), Justin Bird (Tina), Clover Kinkopf and Tim Kinkopf, eighteen great-grandchildren: Jeremy Smith, Reagan Hall, Alexandrea Johnson, Kassidy Rizor, Kenzie Rizor, Grace Pinto, Wyatt Johnson, Felicity Bird, Jack Hall, Ella Pinto, Hayley Rizor, Jessica Smith, Preston Bird, Marcella Williams, Virginia Smith, Mason Williams and Jimmy Tunstall. She is preceded in death by a great-grandson, Marquinn Williams. A memorial funeral mass will be celebratedat 10:00 a. m. on Wednesday, July 3, 2013at Saint Joseph Catholic Church in Benton, IL with Father Joseph Trapp officiating.
