Ida E. Bennett, 92, of Benton, passed away at 9:39 a.m., on Tuesday, November 7, 2016 at Stonebridge Senior Living Center, Benton, IL.
She was born on April 20, 1924 to Clarence and Maryland Moore in Lake Orion, MI. She was a graduate from Eastern Michigan University receiving her Bachelors in Education. Ida was a retired teacher. On September 24, 1942 she married John C. Bennett.
Ida is survived by her children, Rebecca Finley and husband Edward, Deborah Marceau and husband Joseph, and John R. Bennett; seven grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; John Charles Bennett; daughter, Martha McQuillen.
Pate Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Benton, IL., entrusted with funeral arrangements.
