Jennie V. Lenard, 89, of Benton, passed away 12:20 a.m. on April 26, 2015 at the Franklin Hospital, Benton, IL. She was born on July 31, 1925 to John and Victoria Kolano in Chicago, IL. Jennie retired as a Home Health Care Provider. On February 24, 1946 she married Mickey Lenard and he preceded her in death. Jennie was a loving mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She enjoyed puzzles, crafts and crocheting. Jennie is survived by her son, Robert Lenard of Christopher, IL; two daughters, Joyce Szeszol of Benton, IL, Judy Smith of Louisville, KY; 11 grandchildren, 21 great-grandchildren and many great-great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, parents, and a sister, Helen Panek. Visitation will be held Tuesday, April 28, 2015, 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory, Benton, IL. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, April 28, 2015, 1:00 pm at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory, Benton, IL, with Pastor David Seaton officiating.
