John Warren Odle, 59, of West Frankfort, passed away on June 28, 2015 at St. Louis University Hospital, St. Louis, MO. He was born on December 16, 1955 to Harold Odle and Bobbie (Armstrong) Fields in West Frankfort, IL. John worked as a Car Salesman. He was a member of New Life Church of God. John was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed talking about the Bible, riding motorcycles, scuba diving and had an avid interest in technology. John was always willing to lend a hand to anyone who needed it. John is survived by his children, Charity (Jeff) Clark of West Frankfort, IL, John Aaron (Rosa) Odle of Benton, IL and Matthew Odle of Benton, IL; a granddaughter, Hannah Grace Clark; two brothers, Steve (Brenda) Odle of West Frankfort, IL and Vince (Emi) Fields of Marion, IL; a sister, Julie (Phil) Macier of West Frankfort, IL; and a Former Wife, Patricia Odle-Cantrell of Benton, IL. Visitation will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015 from 11:00 am - 1:00 pm at New Life Church of God, 707 North DuQuoin Street, Benton, IL. Funeral services will be held on Thursday, July 2, 2015, 1:00 pm at the New Life Church of God, Benton, IL, with Pastor Rod Joplin officiating. Burial will follow services at Masonic and Odd Fellow Cemetery, Benton, IL. Memorials may be made to New Life of Church of God, Benton, IL.
