Johnny  Kopin, 97, of Mulkeytown, passed away on  July 27, 2024 at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center, Marion, IL.

He was born on September 16, 1926.

Mr. Kopin was a United State Navy Veteran serving during World War II.

Surviving are his son, Andrew Kopin.

Funeral Arrangements have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 S. Main Street, Benton, IL.

A private visitation was held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Pate Funeral Home, Benton, IL.

Graveside Services was held on Wednesday, August 7, 2024, at Saint Andrews Catholic Cemetery, Mulkeytown, IL., with military rites by the Benton American Legion and VFW and the United States Navy Honor Gaurd.

Entombment follow services at the cemetery next to his loving wife, Phyllis Ann Kopin.
