Judith "Judy" L. Roesch, 65, of Thompsonville, passed away on September 8, 2015, at her residence . Judy was born on March 5, 1950, to Herbert and Imiagean (Dial) Welch in Benton, IL. She was a self-employed beautician. On July 29, 1970 she married William F. Roesch in Piopolis, IL. She attended Whittington Baptist Church. Judy was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Her family and friends meant the world to her. She had a long and courageous battle with cancer and never gave up her faith in the Lord. Judy appreciated all of the kind thoughts and prayers for her throughout her illness. Judith is survived by her loving spouse, William, a son, Jason (Heather) Roesch of Akin, IL; a daughter, Alicia (Ryan) Lindhorst of Akin, IL; two granddaughters, Jayma Lindhorst, Jaylyn Roesch; a grandson, Skyler Lindhorst; one brother, Jerry Welch of Ina, IL. God has also blessed her with seven nephews, a niece and many friends and family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Imiagean Welch. Visitation will be held Saturday, September 12, 2015, from 10:00 am to 1:00 pm at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory, Benton, IL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, September 12, 2015, at 1:00 p.m., at Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory, with Pastor Mark Minor and Roger Webb officiating. Burial will take place in the Brady Cemetery.
