Kay Carmin Wall, 75, of Benton, IL, died 6:00 a.m. Wednesday, September 10, 2014, at Good Samaritan Regional Health Center, Mt. Vernon, IL. She was born August 2, 1939, the daughter of John C. & Nell Francis (Troutt) Wall. Kay was a member of the Northern Baptist Church, West Frankfort, IL. She collected watches and enjoyed playing bingo and making fabric wreaths. Surviving relatives include three sisters, Maxine Jackson of Mattoon, IL, Marietta Kolisek of Benton, IL and Winnie Bergeson of Joliet, IL, six nieces & nephews, Melinda (Jan) Melvin of Benton, IL, Gaynell Jackson of Tahoe City, CA, Jonalyn (Jeff) Heitman of Romeoville, IL, Cheryl Bergeson, of Chicago, IL, Shaun (Kelly) Bergeson of Lake Zurich, IL and Greg (Terry) Walls of Morris, IL. Kay was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, Ralph Wall and Jack Walls and one nephew, Jeff Walls. Visitation will be from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2014, at the funeral home. Funeral services will be held at 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 13, 2014, at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory, Benton, IL. Burial will be in the Tower Heights Cemetery in West Frankfort, IL. In lieu of flowers, memorials are requested to the First Baptist Church, Benton, IL, or to the donor's choice.
