Kevin Dale Kearney, 59 of Benton, left his life on earth early Sunday, September 20, 2020, to join his loving parents, Vernon and Lola Kearney and daughter Jenifer Kearney in Heaven.

He was born on September 17, 1961 in Benton, IL., he attended Akin Elementary School, Benton Grade School and Benton Consolidated High School.

Kevin grew up on Vernon's Lake and spent his time helping his grandparents on the farm.

He spent his adult years doing things he loved most.  Raising his daughters, riding 4-wheelers, dirt bikes, horses, fishing and playing pool.

Kevin in his later years played pool every night most of the time at the bar with his team No Fear in the APA Pool League and he also raised and breed Chow Chow Dogs.

To carry on his memories, he leaves behind two daughters, Lesley Michell Kearney and Charity Ann Kearney; one son, Collin Clark; five grandchildren, Dylan Dubs, Jessica Dubs, Gage Dubs, Tyler Dubs and Renesmee Rush; one sister, Donna Kearney; and his girlfriend, Brook Meeks.

He enters eternal life with his parents, maternal grandparents, paternal grandparents, daughter, brother; Gray Kearney; and a cousin, Kent Alan Alsobrook.

At the request of Mr. Kearney, he was cremated.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, October 3, 2020, from 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m., at Pate Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Benton, IL.
