Laura Mutchek - Benton, IL Laura Mutchek, 51, of Benton, IL, died at 8:05 a. m. Friday, October 18, 2013 at Frankfort Healthcare and Rehab Center in West Frankfort, IL. Mrs. Mutchek was born on September 7, 1962 in Riverside, CA, the daughter of Alvin Leroy Hackelton and Judith (McGrane) Hackelton. She married Harry Mutchek on July 14, 1984 and he survives. In addition to her husband, Harry Mutchek of Benton, she is survived by a son, Adam Wasic, a daughter, Heather Mutchek, Creal Springs, IL, five grandchildren, her mother, Judith Sameulson, Rossville, GA, and two sisters, Kathryn Wilcoxon, Pekin, IL, Susan Hackelton, Alpha, IL. Mrs. Mutchek was preceded in death by her father and a son, Jacob Hackelton. Lauras wishes were to have her body donated to the SIUC School of Medicine. No services are scheduled at this time.
