Lawrence "Larry" E. Hamby, 73, of Benton formerly of Litchfield, IL, passed away 9:30 p.m. on Monday, December 14, 2015 at Helia Heathcare of Benton.
He was born on March 5, 1942 to Lawrence and Silvia (Hoxy) Hamby in Serento, IL. Lawrence was a retired Welder.
Lawrence is survived by his children, Lawrence Christopher Hamby and wife Daphne of Whittington, IL and Robert Michael Hamby of Litchfield, IL.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a son, William Carl Hamby.
Cremation was held per Mr. Hamby's wishes.
Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in charge of arrangements.
