Linda Y. Shipp, nee Pullmun, 72, of West Frankfort, passed away on March 24, 2015 at the Herrin Hospital. She was born on February 27, 1943 to Oscar and Bertha (Ashbey) Pullum in Galatia, IL. She was a member of Eagles in Benton and a former Vice-President of the Womens Auxillary. She was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She enjoyed attending her great-grandchildren's ball games. Linda is survived by her loving Daughter, Tina D. (Stanley) Brown of West Frankfort, IL; Grandson, Ryan M. (Sandy) Brown of West Frankfort, IL; Great-grandchildren, Garrett M. Brown and Addysyn M. Brown, West Frankfort, IL. She was preceded in death by parents and a Daughter, Rhonda S. Shipp. Visitation will be held Saturday, March 28, 2015, 10:00 am - 12:00 pm at Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory, Benton, IL. Funeral services will be held on Saturday, March 28, 2015, 12:00 pm at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory, Benton, IL. Burial will take place in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery. Memorial contributions maybe made to Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in care of funeral expenses.
