Lorine F. Bird - Benton, IL Lorine F. Bird, 72, of Benton, died at 3:45 a. m. Monday, November 19, 2012 at her home. Mrs. Bird was born on April 8, 1940 in Benton, IL the daughter of Clarence Williams and Elma (Gibbs) Williams. She married James Bird on December 10, 1960 and he survives. Lorine was a retired police dispatcher for the Village of Bradley where she worked for seventeen years. She was a member of the New Life Church of God in Benton. Surviving relatives include her husband, James Bird, Benton, two daughters, Sandra (Bruce) Fisher, Owensboro, KY, Karla Fortin, Benton, four grandchildren, James Nathanial Fisher and Bruce Adam Fisher, both of Ohio County, KY, Amy Rose Fortin, New Baden, Laura Katherine Renee Fortin, Benton, five great-grandchildren, Dylin Fisher, James Fisher, Adam Lee Fisher, Terry B. Fisher, II, Ayden Fisher, all of Kentucky, one sister, Lois Jean Shepherd, Thompsonville and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Bird was preceded in death by her parents, one grandson, Terry Joseph Fisher, and two infant sisters, Sarah June Williams and Sandra Jo Williams. Lorines body will be cremated.
