Ms. Braden was born on September 29, 1925 in Benton, IL the daughter of Ermon Braden and Lillian (Durham) Braden. Madlenne retired from the State of Illinois Department of Human Services as a Caseworker in Kankakee and Joliet, IL. She was an Avid St. Louis Cardinals Baseball Fan. Surviving relatives include her son, Carl Ridenour and wife Kay, Las Vegas, NV, two nieces, Wanda Thompson and husband Ted, Sesser, IL, and Clarice Burchell and husband Ralph, Johnston City, IL, three nephews, Larry DeYoung and wife Carol, Bloomfield Hills, MI, Paul and Jim Roberts, Sesser, IL. and cousins, Jill Secoy, Kevin Holman, Alan Holman, and Gary Holman, Gillespie, IL. Ms. Braden was preceded in death by her parents and seven siblings. Private services were conducted by Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory, Benton, IL. Burial was held in the Masonic & Odd Fellows Cemetery, Benton, IL.Memorial contributions may be made to the Donor' choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
