Marcus "Marc" Wayne Rush, 34, of Christopher, IL, passed away on December 21, 2015, at his residence.
He was born on April 4, 1981, to Elvie Rush and Kymbra (Drasil) Doyle in West Frankfort, IL. Marcus worked as a mechanic. On August 28, 2001, he married Christy Sandner, in Mt. Vernon, IL.
Marc enjoyed fishing, playing his guitar and spending time with his loving children.
He is survived by his loving spouse, Christy of Christopher, IL, his mother, Kymbra Doyle of West Frankfort, IL, three children, Tristan M. Rush of Christopher, IL, Logan T. Rush of Christopher, IL and Darian M Rush of Christopher, IL; one brother, Matthew Rush of West Frankfort, IL; two step-brothers, Nick Doyle and Evert Doyle and one step-sister, April Doyle.
He was preceded in death by his father, Elvie Rush.
Visitation will be held Wednesday, December 23, 2015, 5:00 pm - 8:00 pm at Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home and Crematory in Benton, IL.
Funeral services will be private.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of Southern Illinois and will be accepted at the funeral home.
