Marlyn Murriel Bybee, 66, of Benton, passed away at 4:35 a.m. on July 25, 2015 at Helia Heathcare, Benton, IL. She was born on November 12, 1948 to Herbert "Boss" and Edith Eldora (Brookshire) Bybee, Sr. in Benton, IL. She attended Benton Consolidated High School and graduated in 1966. Marlyn was a homemaker. Marlyn was a member of the Benton Eagles and American Legion. She is survived by her children, Ben (Amy Rains) Parks, Patty (Brian) Daugherty and Jenny (Johnathon) Parks-Smith; five grandchildren, Jennifer VanZandt, Dillon VanZandt, Garrett VanZandt, Andrea Kesler and Halie Parks; two great-grandchildren, Aiden Mitchell and Liam Mitchell; two brothers, Herbert "Bud" (Sue) Bybee, Jr. and Curtis Bybee; a sister, Edith L. (Doug) Bybee-Sitzes. She was preceded in death by her parents; two sisters, Hilda Ann Morris and Judy Lee Hescht; a Brother, Lenard Ray Bybee. No Services. Cremation was held per Marlyn's wishes.
