Mary M. MillerBranson, MO Mary M. Miller, 77, of Branson, MO, a former Benton resident, died Monday, October 7, 2013 at Golden LivingCenter, Branson, MO. Ms. Miller was born on November 30, 1935 in Greenfield, IA, the daughter of Sherman Summers and Fonda (Brown) Summers. Mary was a devoted grandmother, helping to raise her three grandchildren. She was a member of the First Christian Church in Benton and enjoyed bowling. Surviving relatives include her son-in-law, Jeff Corey and fiance,e Merianne Lero, Reeds Spring, MO, three grandchildren, Anthony, Kristen, and Matthew, all of Reeds Spring, MO, two brothers, Les J. (Kathy) Summers, Thompsonville, IL, Houston V. "Pete" Summers, Thompsonville, IL, nieces and nephews, Beth (Jimmy) Reed, Benton, IL, Sharon Summers, San Antonio, TX, Dotty Mitchell, Marion, IL, David (Tammy) Summers, Akin, IL, Jimmy (Jackie) Summers, Mt. Carmel, IL, Greg (Christie) Summers, Bloomington, IL, Steven Summers, Sherwood, AR, Dan Summers, Thompsonville, IL, eighteen great-nieces and nephews, and nine great-great nieces and nephews. Ms. Miller was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Donna Corey, a sister and brother-in-law, Myola E. and Harry "Fuzz" Hatfield, and a sister-in-law, Fran Summers. Visitation will be from 9:00 to 11:00 a. m. Saturday, October 12, 2013 at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in Benton. Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a. m. Saturday at the funeral home with Rev. James Summers officiating. Burial will be in the Mt. Etna Cemetery, Akin, IL.
