Mildred Fay Presa - Benton, IL Mildred Fay Presa, 84, of Benton, IL, died at 3:55 p.m. Sunday, May 15, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Presa was born on February 20, 1927 in Zeigler, IL, the daughter of Homer King and Anna C. (Carter) King. She married Marino "Reno" Presa on September 9, 1945 and he preceded her in death on December 17, 2009. Mildred was the co-owner of Four Seasons Ace Hardware in Benton. She enjoyed sewing, bowling, reading and working at the store. Surviving relatives include one son, Terry A. Presa and wife Harriet, Benton, IL, one daughter, Gina Presa, New York, NY, two grandchildren, Terri McCarty and husband Mike, West Frankfort, IL, Amanda Presa, New York, NY, two step-grandchildren, Chris Rowland and wife Randa, Bonnie, IL, Jonathan Stahlhut and wife Laura, Surprise, AZ, two great-grandchildren, Gannon and Larkin McCarty, West Frankfort, IL, three step-great-grandchildren, Shaylen Rowland, Bonnie, IL, Katy and William Stahlhut, Surprise, AZ, one sister and brother-in-law, Nadine and William Gentry, Energy, IL, and several nieces and nephews. Mrs. Presa was preceded in death by her parents, husband, and three sisters, Catherine Higginbotham, Virginia Hargis, and Dorothy King. Visitation will be from Noon to 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, May 17, 2011 at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home, Benton, IL. Funeral services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home with Pastor Mark Minor officiating. Burial will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery, Benton, IL.
