Norman W. Hopkins, 58, of Benton, IL, died Monday, July 21, 2014 at his residence. Mr. Hopkins was born on July 3, 1956 in Benton, IL the son of John Walter Hopkins and Ruth Ann (Bailey) Hopkins. Norman was a loving father and a dear friend. Surviving relatives include his son, Tyler D. Hopkins, Benton, IL, two brothers, Donald G. Hopkins, Benton, IL and Roy V. (Kathy) Hopkins, Ft. Meyers, FL, a sister, Betty A. Hopkins, Benton, IL. Mr. Hopkins was preceded in death by his parents. Graveside Services will be held 1:00 p.m. Thursday, July 24, 2014 at Brady Cemetery, Akin, IL, with Rev. Mark Minor officiating.
