Patricia Barbara Cutter, 64, of Benton, IL, died at 6:19 p.m., Friday, November 7, 2014, at her residence. She was born on February 28, 1950, in Harvey, IL, the daughter of Willard and Margaret (Harrison) Sehlke. She married Daniel George Cutter on November 9, 1968. Mrs. Cutter worked for Kroger in the surrounding area for many years as a Full Manager. She formerly volunteered for many years at the Army Corp of Engineers Visitors Center. Pat took pride in participating every year in collecting for St. Jude's Children Research Hospital. She was a loving wife, mother, grandmother and sister. She is preceded in death by her parents and a brother, Jim Sehlke. Surviving relatives include her husband, two children, Jacqueline Lowery of West Frankfort, IL and Danny Cutter of Benton, IL, five grandchildren, Dean Michael Tedrow, Kayla Cutter, Stephen Wilkerson, Danielle Wilkerson and Caitlyn Lowery, a brother, William Sehlke and wife Jill of Chicago, IL, and many nieces, nephews and friends. A visitation will be held from 5 to 8 p.m., Monday, November 10, 2014 at the Hobbs Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory, Benton, IL. A Rosary and Prayer service will be held at 7:45 p.m., Monday, November 10, 2014 at the funeral home. A mass of Christian burial will be held 10 a.m., Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at the St. Joseph Catholic Church, Benton, IL with Father Joseph Trapp officiating. Burial will follow services at St. John's Catholic Cemetery, West Frankfort, IL. Memorial contributions may be made to St. Jude's Children Research Hospital and will be accepted at the funeral home.
