Patrick Wilson Delar, 69, of Johnston City, passed away at 5:00 a.m., on Sunday, September 19, 2021, at his residence.

Mr. Delar was born on May 11, 1952, to Frank and Marian (Dailey) Delar in Chesapeake, VA. On June 2, 1998, he married Donna Book.

Patrick is survived by his loving spouse of 23 years, Donna Book Delar; mother, Marian (Dailey) Delar of Virginia Beach, VA: brother, Frank "Sonny" Delar of Smithfield, VA; sister, Bonnie Delar of Clemmons, NC; daughter, Ann Ethridge of Jarvisburg, NC; and son, Pat Delar, Jr. of Colorado Springs, CO.

He was preceded in death by Father, Frank Delar.

Services have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Benton, IL.

Per Mr. Delar's wishes cremation will take place.
