Paul Harvey Wilkerson - Benton, IL Paul Harvey Wilkerson, 90, of Benton, IL, died at 8:15 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, 2011 at his home. Mr. Wilkerson was born on June 4, 1920 in Benton, IL the son of Harvey Wilkerson and Goldie (Reed) Wilkerson. He married the former Tena Davis on October 12, 1941 and she survives. Paul owned a milk distributorship for several years and he and his wife owned and operated the Benton Dairy Queen in the 1960s. He was a World War II U.S. Army veteran and a member of All Nations Church of God in Marion, IL. He enjoyed traveling and camping. Surviving relatives include his wife, Tena Wilkerson, Benton, IL, two daughters, Paula Lewis, Centralia, IL, Sharon House and husband David, Benton, IL, three grandchildren, Preston House and wife Bonnie, Benton, IL, Leigh Ann Kerley and husband Scott, Ewing, IL, Shannon Roberts and husband Ryan, Centralia, IL, ten great-grandchildren, Jace, Tristan, Julian, Alyssa, and Keaton House, all of Benton, IL, Hadleigh, Griffen, and Emeline Kerley, all of Ewing, IL, Brandon and Taylor Brown, both of Centralia, IL, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mr. Wilkerson was preceded in death by his parents, one brother, Ralph Wilkerson, two sisters, Dorothy Evans and Virginia Smith Launius. A private funeral will be held at Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home, Benton, IL. Burial will be in the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery, Benton, IL.
