Ramona J. Toms' Obituary
Ramona J. Toms, 86, of Logan, passed away at 9:43 p.m., on Thursday, April 21, 2016, at Herrin Hospital on the anniversary of her mothers death.
She was born on January 31, 1930, to Lee and Golden (Meacham) Miner in Logan, IL. She married Clifton "Dusty" Toms and he preceded her in death.
She was a member of Logan Church of God. Ramona loved her family dearly.
Ramona is survived by her nephew, Lonnie D. Conner and wife Geraldine of Logan, IL; a nieces, Rickie Mace of Houston, TX; a daughter-in-law, Karen Toms of Logan, IL; and many great nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Lee and Golden Miner; husband, Clifton "Dusty" Toms; a son, Phil K. Toms; two sister, Elnora Mace and Irene Hefner; and nephew, Dennis Hefner.
Visitation will be held Monday, April 25, 2016, 12:00 pm - 2:00 pm at Pate Funeral Home, 301 South Main Street, Benton, IL.
Funeral services will be held on Monday, April 25, 2016, 2:00 pm at Pate Funeral Home, Benton, IL, with Pastor Michael Mayberry, officiating.
Burial will take place in the Logan City Cemetery.
Memorials maybe made to Hospice of Southern Illinois.
