Richard D. Clark, 74, of West Frankfort, passed away at 7:26 a.m., on Sunday, June 19, 2022, at Memorial Hospital in Carbondale, IL.

He was born on February 10, 1948, to Hillard and Mary (Price) Clark in Benton, IL.

Richard was a loving father and grandfather. He enjoyed farming and gardening and loved spending time with his family.

Richard is survived by son, Richard (Nancy) Clark, Jr.; two daughters, Cindy (Mike) Webb and Amy (Donald) Brachear; two sisters, Rosetta Brannan and Judith Hawkins; five grandchildren, Ashley (Chole) Webb, Austin (Briana) Erthall, Amber Ley Webb, Logen Erthall and Cameron Brachear and three great-grandchildren, Wesley, Kade and Blakely.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Hillard Dean and Mary Francis Clark and his sister, Barbara Kaley.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Benton, IL.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
