Rita GrantWest Frankfort, IL Rita Grant, 80, of West Frankfort, died at 9:30 p. m. Friday, July 13, 2012 at Westside Care Center in West Frankfort. Ms. Grant was born on February 7, 1932 in West Frankfort, IL the daughter of Albert Haines, Sr. and Gertrude (Cutt) Haines. Rita was a retired registered nurse and enjoyed making doll houses and doing arts and crafts projects. She had a life-long love for Chihuahuas. Surviving relatives include four sons, Daniel Grant, Chicago, Steve Grant, West Frankfort, Bobby Grant, Hawaii, Richard Grant, California, four grandchildren, Aimee Hirsch, Benjamin Grant, Karalyn Hadley, and Nicole Desilva, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Ms. Grant was preceded in death by her parents, one brother, Albert Haines, Jr. and five sisters. A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, July 21, 2012 at the Masonic and Odd Fellows Cemetery with Rev. Bert Mitchell officiating.
