Roy R. Piercy, 74, of Sikeston, MO, passed away at 5:17 p.m., on Friday, May 24, 2024, at St. Louis University Hospital, surrounded by his loving family.

He was born on May 13, 1950, to Roy and Margaret (Absher) Piercy in Thompsonville, IL. In 1968, he married Sharon Caraker and she preceded him in death on January 30, 2021.

He was a loving father and grandfather. Roy enjoyed grilling out, watching Cardinal baseball and working around the yard.

Roy is survived by his three daughters, Robin (David) Reid, Amy (Brian) Rollins and Elizabeth Ann Lane; his brother, Gary (Diane) Piercy; his sister, Pam (John) Barwick; 12 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Roy R., Sr. and Margaret Piercy, his wife, Sharon Piercy, his daughter, Wendy Piercy, three brothers, Dennis Piercy,  Lesl Piercy and Randy Piercy and his sister, Roberta Barnfield.

Per Roy's wishes, cremation will take place.
