Sandra KarnesSesser, IL Sandra Karnes, 49, of Sesser, IL, died at 12:48 a.m. Saturday, January 15, 2011 at her home. Mrs. Karnes was born on May 3, 1961 in Cook County, IL the daughter of John Troxtell and Donna Burnett. She married Dan Karnes on September 3, 1987 and he survives. Sandra worked for the Psychic Friends Network, loved spending time with her grandchildren, and listening to her husband play music. Surviving relatives include her husband, Dan Karnes, Sesser, IL, four children, Glenda Karnes and husband Brian, Sesser, IL, Willie Browder and wife Bobbi, Sesser, IL, Lisa Furlow, West Frankfort, IL, Mitzi Willis and husband Donovan, West Frankfort, IL, several grandchildren, three brothers, David, California, Randy Troxtell, Alton, IL, Billy Lester, Mt. Vernon, IL, two sisters, Susie, Coello, IL, Ann Browder, Mt. Vernon, IL, and several nieces, nephews, and cousins. Mrs. Karnes was preceded in death by her father and one grandson, Andrew Browder. Her wishes were to be cremated. A private memorial service and benefit will be held at a later date. Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home, Benton, IL is in charge of arrangements.
