Sharon L. BolenTemple Terrace, FL Sharon Louise (Moore) Bolen, 75, Temple Terrace, FL, died Saturday, April 30, 2011, in Florida. Sharon was a long-time Benton resident. Visitation will be on Sunday, May 8, 1-3 p.m. at Hobbs Johnson Funeral Home, Benton, IL followed by a brief memorial service at 3 pm. She graduated from BCHS in 1954 and married James Bolen. James and Sharon were married 25 years and raised their family in Benton. She worked as a secretary for MSHA for many years - in IL, CO, and NC. She retired to care for her parents in Benton, where she lived and served for 15 years, until poor health moved her to Florida to live with her girls in 2005. Sharon was preceded in death by both parents and by her one son, James Dale Bolen. Survivors include her daughters Michelle Hargadine and husband Terry, Melanie Bingham and husband Mark, all of Florida, seven grandchildren, Holly (Hargadine) King (and Jeremy), Houston, TX, Lynn (Hargadine) Gonzales (and Jeremy), Nashville, TN, Joseph Bingham (and Lauren), Chicago, IL, Micah Bingham, Seffner, FL, Benjamin Bingham, Raleigh, NC, Emma Bingham, Seffner, FL, and Jesse Bingham, Seffner, FL, two great-grandchildren, Griffin Moore Gonzales, Nashville, TN, and Gwendolyn Anne Bingham, Chicago, IL, one sister, Judy Cockrum (Bob), Benton, a nephew, Bill Cockrum (and Jamie), TN, and many Bolen family members she loved and appreciated. Sharon was a faithful Christian who worked with the Church of Christ in Plant City, FL. She was a joy to many and will be sorely missed, but her family does rejoice in her heavenly rest.
