Terry Wayne Ray - Thompsonville, IL Terry Wayne Ray, 49, of Thompsonville died at 11:30 p. m. Saturday, July 28, 2012 at Barnes-Jewish Hospital in St. Louis, MO. Mr. Ray was born on July 15, 1963 in Christopher, IL the son of Terry L. Ray and Linda (Perryman) Ray. Terry worked for the Benton Township Road District and Poole Farms. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, and riding his motorcycle. He attended the Steel City Baptist Church and was a member of the Benton Eagles and West Frankfort Moose. Surviving relatives include two children, Allison Danielle Ray, Vienna, Tyler Reese Perbolt, Waltonville, his mother, Linda Ray, Thompsonville, his father, Terry L. Ray, Steel City, one brother, Keith Ray, Benton, one sister, Marie Wilson, West Frankfort, two nieces, Courtney and Aubrey Wilson, both of West Frankfort, several aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. Mr. Ray was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Humbert and Mary Perryman and paternal grandparents, James and Edith Ray. Visitation will be from 9:00 a. m. to 12:00 p. m. Wednesday, August 1, 2012 at the Hobbs-Johnson Funeral Home & Crematory in Benton. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 p. m. Wednesday at the funeral home with Pastor David Mays officiating.
