Thomas E. "Mac" McPherson, 77, of Mulkeytown, passed away on Thursday, December 13, 2018, at the Heartland Regional Medical Center, Marion, IL.

He was born on August 20, 1941, to Clifford and Charlotte (Armstrong) McPherson in Springfield, IL.  Thomas was a United States Navy Veteran.

Mac enjoyed fishing, dancing, playing pool and attending events with family and friends.

Tom is survived by his three daughters, Diana Andrews and husband Tony, Kathleen Staley, and Gina (Benedict) Khayyat; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren; a special companion, Melody Viernum and children, Crystal, Kara, Kimberly, and Cory.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Clifford Carl and Charlotte Fay McPherson; his first wife, Lois McPherson; and his second wife, Bonnie McPherson.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Benton, IL.

Per Mac's wishes, cremation will take place. A celebration of life will be held at a later date in honor of his life.
