Timothy D. Simpson, 59, of Pinckneyville, passed away on Wednesday, February 9, 2022, at his residence.

He was born on January 4, 1963, to Ronald and Janice (Prowell) Simpson in Benton, IL.

Timothy was a loving son, brother and uncle. He enjoyed spending time with his nieces and nephews, traveling, working on computers and fishing.

Timothy is survived by his brother, Keith W. Simpson; sister, Heather D. (Paul) Day; niece, Lilly Simpson; three nephews, Kenny Batten, Derrick Sizemore and Hunter Sizemore; two great-nephews, Aubry Batten and Bennette Sizemore; and a great-niece, Brooklynn Sizemore.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Pate Funeral Home, 301 S. Main St., Benton, IL.

Per Timothy's wishes cremation will take place and burial will take place at a later date at the Masonic and Oddfellows Cemetery, Benton, IL.

Memorials contributions may be made to the donor's choice and will be accepted at the funeral home.
